07 2.2 auto sc or tc kit?

trying to plan what im doing with this car
im not looking for an insane amount of boost and dont plan on uping the internals untill this motor dies
got a few questions
what hp is the tranny good for?
what hp is the internals good till?

was looking at the zzp kits
so what would you suggest
the tc kit or the sc kit,
ease of installation?
less finicky?
best bang for your buck?

i my self am leaning towards the sc kit, herd there easier to work with n what not,

what would zzps sc kit put me at hp wise with full cat back, and would i need anything not included with the kit?

If you dont plan on upgrading the Internals then go with a SC kit

The L61s are decently strong motors. The 250 Crank number got thrown around YEARS ago and has been proved over and over to be not the case. I've encountered multiple 12 second L61 owners (mostly J-bodies) and they have ~300 WHP...well of the 250 crank mark people state.

The GM Auto Trannies are pretty strong transmissions as well. My only suggestion would be look into a transmission cooler if you decide to actually go big power.

How much money are you trying to spend on a turbo or s/c setup?

The full explanation is that they did a test with a 100 shot of nitrous and it was a dry shot. They basically upped it until it blew. There was no added fuel. Had a catastrophic detonation and it blew.

probably just an sc kit

not looking to spend to much, just want a fun dd, if i had a ss/tc i might be looking to go big power, but until my engine blows, not gonna invest in building the motor/tranny

I always get confused with whats the better choice for reliability. Considering that the supercharger is bolt on and the turbo your tapping your oil pan and what not. DOesn't haveing an automatic also conflict with that choice because the automatic is more friendly with sc then turbo?

i have an auto 07 2.2 as well and im in process of installing my turbo setup
from what i hear/read that all ecotecs are good for at least lk 8 psi which isnt puttin down anything
crazy im not sure but i think the problem i may run into is clearance for the turbo itself

Autos push the engine closer to the front of the car AFAIK. It may be difficult to fit the lsj intake manifold for the blower setup but people do it.

I thought boost on an automatic was something you want to stay away from?

turbo'd auto here and staying out of boost on an auto is easy. don't lay into the throttle when accelerate and leave the shifter in D and you'll be alright.
