07 cam sensor

ok someone please tell me or explain the steps on how to install a cam sensor onto some comp cams. i knwo it needs to be taken to machine shop to be done but what do i need to have them do exactly. or if anyone has any info on what bridfi had bates engineering do or if someone has a website for them. thanks in advance!!!

You need to bring a set of stock 07 cams. They need to take the cam sensor off and then press it on the comp cams.

Any good machine shop would know exactly what you need. Just show them and they'll know.

they need to press the ring off the factory cam and onto the aftermarket cam, it has a varying position of about 1 degree so it has to be pressed on pretty much exactly at the position they pressed it off.

imo, id only trust bates engineering. they work on ecotecs only.

i tried hes got them on hold for someone local, but bridfi do you have a website for bates or some contact info. what did they charge you to press it on and off

they shouldnt charge that much, they charged me $1100 to build the entire head, i supplied the cams and factory head with factory parts they put their valves, machined the head, got the cams to work, supplied the valve springs, torqued everything down, etc etc for only 1100

call them up
