you have a good while to go before you start worrying about axles.

what mods are you planning?

Well I have 8.5:1 pistons. Eagle Rods. full valve train with adjustable cam gears and port and polished head. stage 2 cams on the way. a custom turbo kit based around the GT3071R BB turbo with a external wastgate set at 18psi. hahn 3" exhaust and DP. Im saying this will be at 340hp + since every one is getting 240hp with stock motor on 10psi. All parts sitting in my basment waiting to be put on.

almost forgot Im in the process of making a sheetmetal intake manifold.

Our automatic trannys are beasts. I agree that it won't handle 400 horses though, . Maybe 350 if you're lucky.

You need a cheap rebuild and it's good for 400+.

are you talking at the wheel or crank? theyre rated 315bhp, and given GM's large safety margins, they can probably hold 350bhp safely, and 400bhp if you like playing on the edge, but they'll probably go out under prolonged use at 400bhp.
