Please tell me you're not serious? I find it entertaining that you have the audacity to mock these guys and you want to be among their ranks. Your jumping in headlong without heeding their warnings and I must say "foolish is as foolish does." All custom cars come with custom problems. If you honestly think that you won't have any problems with your ride you really haven't been playing this game long enough.

Personally I've enjoyed the ride. The blood, sweat, tears and money have been worth it to me and I'm still not done.

I guess, all I'm really trying to say is listen and learn because you have not boosted your car yet. You have a long way to go still.

my car is fully built from ground up and i haven't gotten any problem. i wonder why? cuz i know what i was doing and i read forums and other stuff to learn what i was doing before i picked up a tool and started to go to work on my car. if you just start taking **** off your and put something on thinking it will work and be fine than your just dumb and shouldn't even be touching a car.

this is like word for word what i was gonna say. the only parts on my car that i have not touched are the actual engine internals. I am supercharged, with custom everything. brakes, valve cover, strut mounts, strut bars, ebrake cables of a 1997 cavalier, lots of retro fitted LSJ parts, even cobra parts (haha) and not one problem caused by any of them. Other then wear and tear stuff, I have NEVER had problems with my car, and its got 120k miles on the clock. 70K of that done by me since july 07.

First off, i'm not mocking anyone.

Secondly, you should probably know what you're talking about before you open your mouth. Just because my car is not supercharged as of yet does not mean i dont know what i'm talking about. ACTUALLY, i have turbocharged a 2.2 cobalt and it went smooth as pie. NO problems. It was done right and we knew what we were doing before just jumping in tearing things apart. i expect no less from my supercharger build. BUT if there are problems, i have no doubt we'll be able to fix them, which redcobalt was unable to do and so he thinks everyone else will be unable to do so, as well.

So before you go trying to act all high and mighty, maybe you should get your facts straight and not assume things.

Truth. Answers to every question youll ever have can be found on the internet. That's how i did my sc build too. Piece by piece, page by page. i couldve told you where every bolt and size of that bolt on our engines at the time

I have read a few of the SC builds. I dont think i found a direct answer to this. Can you still SC a 2.2 if it has SAI?

If you read through all of the build threads in the sticky I linked and the extra resources you will have an incredible advantage in tackling this. I would not expect to do this and have it be trouble free though. Things happen, some setups work for a week, some work for years. nobody can tell you whats going to happen on your car. It's a risk no doubt but if you have the time, money, and passion to do it, do it.

The LSJ header and DP fit an auto AFAIK but will cause rattle because it's the wrong size, the auto DP is ~1inch (I think) longer than the standard. If you SC I would look into getting a good after market header and down pipe.
