2.2L on Redline TV

So I'm watching Redline TV on SPEED last night and they had like a 6 minute build-up of a stock 2006 Victory Red Base 2.2L Cobalt Coupe (guessing a manual). They dynoed it and it came out to be 125hp/128tq (at the wheels).

They really didn't do much to performance (that's next weeks show/cut of the show). They put in a lip kit, it looked good, not too flashy, but enough to make it stand out. They threw on the SS/SC wind and it did look good with what they were doing.

Next week, the performance part, they'll be adding I/E/H and dyno it after that.

Thought I'd share with the 2.2 guys. Now you know what we put down at the wheels and next week, I'll try to catch the R TV episode so we know what a I/E/H does to our cars!

That's pretty cool. At least you will be seeing true numbers so you know what these mods will realy do.

yeah, I'm guessing 6-8 for each one, so we'd be getting close to 150 at the wheels!

That's just my guess though, not true!

I saw it last night at like 9:30 CDT (MN)

So I'd imagine same time, next Tuesday.

At least we have a base number to work from (from their dyno at least)

Edit: Slowion, I wish as well, lol. Blackss502, nos or NAAAAWZ? lol

Thats exactly what I want, just sold my pickup that has tons of low torque, some days would never rev it over 2000, had that much torque. This cobalt need to get to 2,500 just to move and like 3K to get to speed decently. Trying to save gas.

Can't wait to hear the results. I'm sure it will determine what will happen to my tax refund next year.

How about a list of products as a reference that they used? Anything mentioned on that episode?

Well i just went to SPEEDtv and they dont have anything listed. They dont even have the episode name of Tuesdays air. Also dont state a name for any episodes until Aug 15th. However they say that next weeks show will air on Tuesday at 10PM EST and 2AM EST.

They said join us next week for performance parts (but who knows when that is!!!)

They didn't mention exactly what company's products they were using, just an I/E/H install. Also, acoording to people who saw this (must be old, maybe taped end of last year) they add nitrous to the LS.........

For the longest time, I didn't know either, until I caught onto things. I'm not saying you're slow or anything like that, I'm just saying some people use abbreviated terminology when it comes to cars.

It makes it easier and usually people know what they are talking about. Again, not knocking you or anything, just I didn't feel like typing it! lol!
