that doesnt look like a cobalt, one its a hatchback, 2 where the area at the headlights, fenders and front clip meet is a different shape and body line. and the rear is longer on the cobalt

 

people hate because they think its just a redesigned Cavalier

 

that aus car is what GM would offer if hatchbacks were "cool" here in the states. Same underskin, such a shame though lol.

The interior is the same, to a tee except for driver and passenger seat location.

 

That particular Astra platform IS NOT the current Cobalt, but it will likely be the 2008 Saturn ION

so anyway I watched Redline TV yesterday and they showed the Cobalt again...

for anyone that didn't see it this time around

they put down 140whp with Injen short ram intake and GMPP exhaust

15whp gain sounds a little much but whatever, seems like they added the 7whp from one mod and 8whp from the other mod to reach their number.

 

I had posted the info, and now it's not there?!?!!!??

But that's pretty much what they did.

i kinda like that astra or whatever it is. if it comes to canada i would consider getting one.

 

SWEET! i have the Injen CAI and DC sports so my #'s should be about the same if not alittle better at the high end plus the mod i have gives like 10-15 more so...WOOT

 

I highly doubt they really gained that much HP from those two mods so I doubt you do

like I said it seemed more like they just added 7+8 for their number, I highly doubt they gained 15whp anywhere in the powerband.

 

well on my first dyno after intake and exhaust i pull around 138whp avg.....so i think it is totally possible but to each their own
