2 Cats!!

Well i went to install my new header and i put my car o the lift and i have 2 cats! thats right...and its not a cat and a resonator, i know what a resonator looks like. what can i do toinstall the header?

you have an 07 right?...........i noticed this during my last oil change........but it shouldnt effect the header......,just the down pipe

yes i have an 07....i would have to cut the cat because the header goes down to far...and i hav an o2 bung right after the first cat.. am i just gonna haveto man up and cut the stock downpipe?

ya we have 2 02 bungs right?

thats the only thing im not sure of.......i think its one right before and one right after....

well i wouldnt cut ur stock DP, it should fit i think u just gotta play around wit it......i would search the How to section

....if not cut out the cat after the 02 bungs and get it rewelded.......or get a high flow cat DP

true........but u will see gains from a new DP......thats the route i would go......cuz if u **** up the stock one u need to get a new one anyway.....

If you have the pacesetter, i'm pretty sure you either have to have a custom DP made or buy the one that fits it, which is 200+ dollars IIRC. That's why not many buy those...

The only thing that will hook up is a shorty. This is the case for all cars though, doesnt matter how many cats or what engine you have, there are very few headers that use the stock cat/dp assembly

get the aftermarket DP..........since your practically full bolt on after that u can get a nice tune and every little bit will help

im gunna be the first auto to run 14s by the spring of '10 without power adders.... after that im going turbo and gunna run 13s

lol i got my 15 inch steelies....ran with the 17s i had on and i went .4 tenths slower

if i had et streets tires i would be there already

15" steelies are my winter tires..........i run 16" in the summer......better ride then the 15" and not too much of a performance loss

yea when i get all my mods done and **** i plan on borrowing some steelies and running with a small diameter tire so i can accelerate faster
