2007 2.2L Cobalt High Idle Problem
I have an 07 Chevy Cobalt last night I cleaned the throttle botty with throttle body cleaner while the battery on the car was off and now my car is idling sometimes at 3k and sometimes at 2k. Any ideas everything under the hood is secured such as hoses clamps and all.
did you remove the TB when you cleaned it? if not, then you had the cleaner in the intake when your car's ecu was resetting from the battery being off the car.... at least that'd what it sounds like to me.
You might try disconnecting the battery again for a while, then reconnect and let the car idle for 5 minutes on it's own, don't touch the accelerator. Then go for a drive and see if all is well.

yup,i replaced both of them and it was good.i had 2 exhaust leaks tho as well.but i clean my TB and then the high idle came on.so i fixed the leaks and had to replace both of the o2 sensors and the high idle went away.no idea which problem led to the next
