It's called the LAP and 155 out of the motor for the base is 15HP higher than the base Civic. You're supposed to compare the Si to either the SS/SC or SS/TC.

I doubt this motor is going to be even in the lineup much longer with the new 1.4 Turbo motor coming, its the same power with more mpg

Are you talking about the engine that is going to be in the "Volt"....the engine that is only used as an electrical generator to charge the batteries....doubtful....and that has even changed for the time being with an adapted version of the LE5 being used for the hybrid vehicles...

1.4 turbo is said to have only 140HP w/ better fuel economy.
