4 to 5 Lug Conversion?

I completely apologize if this has been bought up before and im sure it has, i have 5 mins to get to work so i have no time to search. In theroy our 4 lug hubs could be switched out for 5 lugs from say an SS/NA or SS/SC realitivly easily with only switching hubs and then drums and rotors. Am i correct in saying this? I love the wheels off the SS and its just not a possibility right for us 2.2 guys.

For the LS
Yes = Expensive

However
An LT with ABS may have more of an issue with the ABS sensors. But ABS only came on the automatics.

Edge racing has Sportmax rims that look like SS/SC rims. If you goto site tell it you have 2005 so you can get Cobalt to come up.

i don't know its kinda of confusing cause i saw a how-to to take of the wheel bearing so i was wondering if you get one from an SS and put it on would it work fine i don't see any problems, unless you got ABS

I think it would be cheaper if you just pick up a nice set of wheels. Being a four lugger there are literaly thousands of options for you. You can find a set and switch out the Chevy center cap.

Honestly there is little reason to switch the hubs. You have more options with your 4 lug hub to start with. It would save you a lot of time and money to just not bother.

We have the 4X100. Or atleast that's what I was told when trying to select Weld Racing wheels.

no the 4x100 is very common, the 5x110 that the SS have are not common making aftermarket wheels harder to find.
