Really, why convert? there are less options for rims on the 5-lug pattern. Plus you can find muchhh better looking rims then stock SS ones. It would cost wayy too much to convert then its worth..

It would require changing out the hubs. Very expensive. I wouldn't recommend it. On a lighter note, if you do this, you can upgrade your breaks to SS/SC setup all the way around. Like I said though, this is all very expensive and most likely, not worthwhile...

If you junk-yard it, I bet you could find the whole setup for cheap. I'm not certain everything you would need for the swap though. If I were you, and serious about this, I would try to find a wrecked SS/SC and buy the whole suspension/brake system off of it. That would give you everything you need. Don't forget the better control arms!

Price SS rims then ask yourself if you want to do it. Its too expensive, and you can find lighter better rims to fit the 4x100 you already have.

also cause if you would have searched theres this thread already asked. (not being a dick just pointing it out.)

I already have some rims that are fairly light.

Close, LS and LT1 are 4 lug, LT2 and LT3 are 5 lug

15" = 4 lug
16" & up = 5 lug

True, but once again, why go through all that trouble to narrow your options. Especially if you're not upgrading to better parts? Just constructive criticism, bro. Don't take it personal...

Sorry again, Drums on LT2 & LT3, rear discs only came on SS/NA and SS/SC cars

http://www.chevrolet.com/cobalt/features/#wheels

If you want a rear disc set this is way cheaper and a lot less labor

It's going to be way cheaper for a set of 4x100 17" + wheels and that brake kit if all you're going for is rear disc's, but i'd recomend the fronts to match, those aluminum caliapers are sweet.
