AEM f/ic

Need some info about the sensors on the 2005 2.2L cobalt. I'm wondering if anyone knows if we have 1 or 2 cam position sensors and if they are Mag or Hall sensors. Also i need to know if the Crank sensor is a Mag or Hall.

I need to know this information for wiring up the AEM f/ic. Thanks for the help guys . just one step closer to boosting

I know for a fact the crank sensor is a mag sensor. I don't have a cam sensor on my 06. But I'm think the 07s have them. I'd have to believe they're a mag sensor as well.

the difference on the crank for mag and hall is Mag has 2 wires and the Hall has 3 wires. I cant remember what the diffrence is for the cam sensors. But now that i think about it, when i ripped apart the valve train replacing the cam shafts i dont recal ever seeing a cam sensor.

i got the info i needed from that other link that was posted in here. its a hall and we do not have any cam sensors.

i would ask but i seen them picking on the other guy that asked the questions already, so id rather not be bashed for making this car have more power.

I'm putting together a wiring diagram, install guide spacific for the 2.2L cobalts, and i have already made 2 tunes to replace our factory injectors with 42lb injectors and 60lb injectors. I got the convertion formula from somone on this site. So once i get back to the States ill hook this all up and test out the tunes and make sure it makes the 42lb and 60lb injectors operate like stock injectors. Then install the STS turbo and have the local shop tune it.

LOL. in between helping my agents i dont like to sit there and do nothing, so i do as much research as i can. It only took me like 2 days to make the thing. But now that they stuck me on inbound calls i dont have time to finish it. Within 2 weeks from now ill be on the deployment team, deploying new navy and marine corp computers out all over the US. Gonna be SWEET.

thats nice. is it in digital format or hard copy. I'm going to put it in both formats that way i have something to referance while im actually doing the work.

Should be interesting, but since i am in an advanced electronics field i should be alright doing this. lol.
