Air dam from 2.4L on 2.2L
I have just installed the lower air dam off of a 2.4L SS onto my Cobalt.
The temperature drop from before the air dam that I have seen while cruising so far has been around 8 degrees F.
- Before air dam was about 198 degrees F
- After air dam is now about 190 degrees F
I also purchased the rear trim piece that fits under the rear bumper cover of the car on the spare tire well from '06 and up Cobalts.
Just a bump since I have pics now.

interesting... it's actually bigger? or do the 2.2's even have one stock?
Though I know it performs a useful function... I hate those things... they always scrape.

And if you are having a problem with them scraping, DO NOT PULL UP OVER PARKING BLOCKS, CURBS, OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT STICKS UP FROM THE GROUND! LOL! Driving carefully over driveways and such helps also.

I think LS's and LT's have the one on the fascia but not one below the radiator/condenser. And SS's and SS/SC's have the one below the rad/cond but not the fascia one.
That's the setup on the 2 new ones on the lot

The air dam is not very expensive new...call CED at 1 800 441-5150 and order one. They'll also be able to send you the 2 plastic fasteners you need.
