Neither. Injen, Fujita, JBP, Cobalt Addiction, all have decent ones out.

Just noticed you put this in the 2.0L performance section but your sig says you have a 2.2....my answers apply to the SS/SC.

Weapon-R I haven't even seen listed for the 2.0 Cobalt at any of the sites yet...
AEM is basically an airbox replacement, and doesn't get hardly any gains...
Injen people seem to like, fitment issues have been fixed, and very few people have a CEL with it...
Fujita is what I have, very noticable gains, great supercharger whine, I've had no problems with fitment, I had a CEL for about 150 miles and then it disappeared...
JBP and XTC's (<--Cobalt-Addiction) intakes are both supposed to be good, but I haven't seen many people running them, so I don't know what you'll see gains/fitment/CEL wise.

Put this on a SS/SC and you would offically be "Super Duper Charged" You would have to get all new badges too.

Why the **** does everyone bash the AEM intake so much? My AEM intake runs down into my fender well, the exact same spot your INJEN does. I ran 10.1's tonight with 1.0 + R/T's... I can't tell you what the gains are, but its ******* cold air coming through both. Show me facts that yours are better then my AEM. My AEM cost me a shitload so if you can prove me wrong then do it. But don't use "oh i bought injen and it roxxors!"

After putting mine on I would say no. The only real differences are tube diameter and the stock airbox, it MIGHT be restricting.

It confuses me a little just replaceing the air filter They say will give you 2hp/t , then like K&N say with their CAI will give u an 8 hp boost and injen says 17hp/t is there any true to that and if so whats the differnce that can give from 2-17 hp boost?

I would say there is no way in hell a CAI would give someone 17 hp. I know what you mean though as I have seen their dyno posted on their website.....

My real debate now is weather to just replace my stock air filter or get a CAI? Any recommendation?

If you have a supercharged car you MUST get a CAI or do the air box mod (lots of threads on this, search) The supercharger is WAY louder with the stock air box removed. It really sounds like a supercharged car afterwards!!

So your saying since ur aem cost you a "shitload" its good, no one is bashing aem he was just stating facts from the site and reviews and dyno sheets on diff intakes, search the site or go on vendor sites and you will see.

I would get the AEM. It has no fitment issues and looks stock under the hood. I don't think anyone has thrown a cel with one either ???

Has anyone heard of issues where after installing the CAI you get a check engine light or MAF sensor error. If yes does anyone know how to mitigate these problems?
