this is all im trying to get

i know im probably gonna get flamed for this for not searching...but anyway. first of all i have an 05 ls auto. all im trying to do is get my car around 250 to 270 horses..so far all i have is a custom exhaust with a magnaflow muffler. i was just wondering what are some good ways to get to that power. money really isnt a problem (no im not rich). but i plan to take my time with this and do it right so i have been saving up already for a while. thanks guys.

a built engine, and a turbo or super charger, or a big shot of n20

I guess I'll be the first to say to customary, "Trade it for an SS/SC.."

Well, you're gonna have to go FI, either a turbo or supercharger, with built motor to handle the boost. And since you have an 05 you gonna be waiting for tuning.

I thought 05's and 07's could tune and it was just 06's that were SOL.

i believe it's 05 and 06 both who are SOL; but us 07's stand a chance!

Or look for a used Red Line, drop about $1k into mods, and you're there, safe being there, and won't go boom as easily...

Tuning for us...is a big SOL! But I'm working on getting that changed.

What part of AL you from?

To reach that goal you need a good motor build, turbo setup, good suspension, brakes, wide enough tires to have traction(well a little), good engine management system, etc. Probably about $10K in your pocket for just a basic build.

yeah im not tryign to be a fanboy or hate on the ls, but if money isnt a problem wouldnt it just be easier to buy an SS/SC and not an LS?
