Yes the exhaust manifold fits fine. It's the downpipe that doesn't fit great. its about an inch shorter than the stock 2.2 auto downpipe. We are talking about the LSJ downpipe being installed with an auto not the exhaust manifold.

Honestly buy a zzp downpipe if your going with a badmab and your an auto car. Its just not worth the hassle and time.

Hell I ran a manual zzp mid length combo on my car and even it rubbed on the swaybar (very annoying)

But to the original OP the badmab is a decent part at a good price and a lot of people have liked it. It can be run with the stock downpipe but you will feel very minimal gains.

Sorry its been soo long since i've had the stock parts on my car I had forgot about the auto downpipe issues. And to the op yes buy a zzp downpipe and it'll work with the badmab no problem. Thats one of the shitty things about being a auto you can't use the lsj downpipe if you wanted to as its due to the engine location and the auto tranny and like cordia said it rubs along the sway bar.

Thought i'd bump this thread before there's "Holy" and "Batman" with it.

Was thinking about redoing my catback exhaust to 2.25/2.5 setup. But i'm leaving it as is and focus on the header/dp as they're the most restictive parts.

So will the Badmab or LSJ header will fit my 2010 Lap 2.2 auto with no issue? I heard from Crateenginedepot about the GMPP manifold (ported lsj manifold obviously) not fitting to an auto Cobalt. As for the DP i'm getting the ZZP 2.5" catted version.

I am also thinking about getting the bad mad header. i have a manual trans. So there should be no reason for it to throw a code. All the bugs will fit? And with the header a aftermarket downpipe and a gmpp cat back what kind of gains am i looking at?

thats the setup i have. gains are noticeable, and sound is amazing. 2.4 intake mods and tune definitely wake it up more. car almost has some pull now. lol

My stock dp doesnt seem to like my badmab header...or vice versa... Have a recurring leak that keeps popping up even after I had given in and had an exhaust shop tighten things up.

not to be a noob, but why does it seem like everyone has a 2.5 dp with this header? if the header has a 3" collector wouldnt air flow be smoother with a 3" dp? or is there some reason every one seems to be going with a 2.5"?

3'' DP is to large for a normally aspirated setup. 3'' would cause you to loose power.
