FOR THE CAMMED COBALT's

Well today I installed a 2.4 TB and the rough starts are a little smoother. With a few tweaks in the tune Vince has the car running brand new (with cams). Surging when coming to a stop, is no more.

As for the start ups. My car ran lean so the more fuel that is added at start up the less surging of the engine wanting to die.
Now it is not perfect but way way way better than what it was before hand.

Give me a couple of days to make sure. but as of now the car runs great.

If your going to get cams i would have to say have the 2.4 manifold and the 2.4 TB.

world of difference

Probably 166-170 going to work with the AFR still little bit to lean for the cams 13.8-14.5.
before the TB it was at 12.8

Good numbers for a N/A 2.2
You should get the MRZ pulley to help get to the higher Rpm's faster

What's the specs on the 2.4l tb compared to a 2.2 one? Too bad I don't have drive by wire, I can't use the 2.4.

Not really sure. but the TB blade is bigger. and since in the 05-06's the ECM doesn't have base running air flow chart to change the amount of space the TB blade is open. With the 2.4TB the blade is bigger and it is open more on start up. Allowing the engine to get the air flow it needs to side smooth.

and or yours you can bore it out and adjust your TB blade with a screw driver i believe. OLD SCHOOL. not all this bossy ****. computer taking overLOL

the 2.4 TB installs directly to the 2.4 Intake Manifold. No adapters.

I KNOW MAN!!! you have no idea how good it feels just to start the car and BAM instant idle. I got it down to 900 RPM idle now with no problem and when i drive its not jumpy when i come to a stop. Now since it is cold here it idles high to warm up but then it drops to 900. still working with vince you adjust everything to get a tune for everyone. the last thing i want on my mind is it not to work and everyone bought 2.4TB and manifold. LOL I'll feel real shitty then.

Ready for that Race LOL
