camshaft?

I was wondering if anyone makes cams for an 08 L61? I haven't really found any. Or are they universal?

Nope and Yes. Comp cams can fit with modification on the exhaust cam. You need to find a shop that can shave the length and press on the Cam Position Sensor (exact pisition).

^^this, just get the 06 cams for the l61 and some machine shop modification and there you go, pretty sure there are a few members on here that have done that (on my wish list/mod list)

stalls is the major issue
starting takes longer, what do you mean? for me it is happen when i stall
rough idle it not the biggest issue, it is why i bought camshaft
shifted powerband is not a issue for me
hard to idle, in my case, i have to lower my rpm at 970 then press the clucth in.

i add this:
cold start are poor. need to assist to prevent stall. i have to say i m living in Quebec. from nov to march is very cold.

but when everything is warm and fine cams are fun.
YouTube - saturn ion cammed stage 2 YouTube - saturn cold start with stg 2 cams

On a 2008 any L61 cam will work but stated above one has to be modified. It is the intake cam that has to have the reluctor ring machined on.Many have attempted this with out success. The sensor has to be extremely perfect otherwise it will throw codes.Be fore you buy cams,do research on local machine shops and make sure they would be comfortable doing such a job.

No 2007 is the same.I have a 07 as well.the exhaust cam will bolt right in but the cam sensor relucter ring has to be machined on the intake cam
