Me and my buddy just installed a catless dp on his SVT and it changed his car quite a bit, the sound is awsome and it pops like my cobalt does. Deffinatly and improvement, we also installed accessory pullys which is suposed to help quite a bit.

i'm guessing the focus.

to complete the answer, with any non OEM downpipe, i'd suggest a CEL eliminator. i hear you need to "clearance" the body a bit, but it'll save you a lot of agg.

i actually happen to have an extra catless DP laying around here...

holy hell no dont buy that, you can make oneo urself, goto a local autozone, buy some spark plug non foulers, and use both of them, use them on eachother, so twist one into the other, this will create the base of it, now the bottom end can go into ur dp, and the iside part is where the o2 will go in, also, you wil need a 1/2 inch drill bit and drill the inner diameter of the new 1 piece assembly all the ti'll half way before you hit the end of the bottom one, that will make clearance for the o2 to sit on, i saw it all done on a s2k forum, its called the mechanical o2 simulator or some shi like that, its sappose to work, exhaust depot has that built in to their dp

Get a Highflow cat otherwise you might not like the sound of your exhaust anymore.
