My check engine light came on today. I have an AEM cold air intake, it's been in for about six months. Would it be the intake that is causing the check engine light? I'm not sure what to do please help.

Disconnect your battery for 10 mins. If it doesn't come back, problem solved. (if it's minor anyways)

 

Just go get it scanned like said above. It probably is the intake, but the dealer isn't going to put your name on some kind of black list of warranty voiders. They won't fix it for free if it is the intake, but if it isn't, it's covered.

 

thank you all for your help, i actually read my manuel a little and all I had to do is put my gas cap back on properly, my fiancee got gas for me and i guess she didn't put it on right.
