Coolent Temps?

Coolent Temps?

After my accident i noticed my coolent temps will hit 103*C before even turning on the an, it worries me alot...
question is when does your fan turn on, withthe coolent temps?

my fan is weird sometimes ill get home with my coolant at 88 and i get out and the fan will be running... seems to have a mind of its own...

When the A/C or defroster is on, the fan runs. It also stays on for a while after it is turned off.

I also think that the fan comes on around 225 F (107 C). Its a pressurized system so it is able to go to maybe 240 F (115 C) before it starts to boil.

Same thing here. My cooling fan will not come on until I hit 225, which I almost never hit anymore.

every time i drive a few miles and stop for more than a minute mine runs up to 230F but only stays there a minute or so and drops back down to around 180-190F.

My coolant temps never go above 190*F

most of the time it is 178-181*F
