Cosmo short throw shifter review

Well I just installed a Cosmo sts in my base model Cobalt and I have to say I love it.
You can really feel the difference in throws when going from 2 to 3 and 4 to 5.
I also purchased the standard shift knob from Cosmo.
The whole package look really nice installed.

The installation was fairly easy although the included instructions could definately use more and better pictures. I personally hardly touched Cosmo's instructions and used a few of the how to guides from this site.

I think it's a nice mod and very reasonably priced.
Hope this review helps someone.

Looks sick.

Not a big fan of the knob, though.

Either way..

Yup 70 bucks and yea the window crank is off.
Reapolstering (spelling?) my arm rest.

Mine is the regular height.
For the picture they have on the site someone actually cut the shifter shorter than it comes. Thats why it looks so much lower.

i bought the cosmo sts and installed it on friday so i figured i would drive the weekend an then post what i thought about. i have to say that i'm a little disappointed with the short throw aspect of it. the throws are not much shorter thought i can see they did shorten a little. but what i was really impressed with is how much smoother the throws are. very easy throws. installation was pretty easy. over all its a nice upgrade. like i said the throws to me aren't much shorter but the smoothness of the throw goes along way for me i'll give it a 6.5/10

Mine was installed Sep. 08 and I'm very happy with it. Can't complain about $65 Shipped
In Montreal I know plenty of people who have this exact same Cosmo STS in their cavaliers.
