custom spectre intake

Ive searched and read thru a few threads on here for the 2.2l but no has confirmed the actual diameter for the throttle body and the air box outlet (towards tb). Ive seen others mention 2.5 in 2.75in 3in and even 3.25in. Id like to just remove the intake once and I just want something simple, I was going to use a 90 deg spectre chrome tube and a 6 inch chrome tube with 2 couplers also and just put a breather hose the valve cover nipple. And also put spectre's air duct flex tube from the bumper into the air box. I got a kn filter already. I got a buddy that works at autozone and can get me these items cheap.

Just wanted to know others opinions on the parts that Im using only. Opinions like maybe Im using to short of an intake tube, or maybe i need the 22 degree bent one instead of a straight tube. Ive seen to many other threads get completely sidetracked because some think the money can go to something better like an aftermarket intake and then everyone gets pissed and defensive. I simply just want opinions on parts that should be used. Thanks

I have a spectre intake, i kept the stock air box. Its cheap but deffinatly not as good as an "actual" intake. Your choice.

if you wanna get rid of the box, use a 90, a straight 6", followed by a 45 degree bend, than a cone filter, thats what i did and just had a breather on the valve cover

Imma keep my airbox, ill probably connect a hose to the bottom of my airbox and run it to the air vents at the bumper.
