Wow, 95db? That's loud isn't it? I bet my magnaflow is at least 150db on take off

Oval exhaust, not sure.... Looks like a Civic muffler to me.

cobalts were inspired by the import market so since honda is the leader in imports then i guess it will look just fine. i like the exhaust. dc sports is a well known brand so it will definently perform. not sure how it will sound but i'm sure the hp #'s will go up some.

looks good but I'd have to hear it! That's the only thing I regret going from a v8/v6 to the 4.. there are not to many systems that don't give you that ricey suped up lawn mower sound..haha...

Hopefully they post media to give me a better idea of what it sounds like. I know straightening out the pipe will make the car louder than it is now but I'm really looking for an exhaust with a low db rating that won't make my LS sound like a tank rolling down the street...I can't STAND that screaming tin can sound on the outside let alone having to put up with it on the inside .

Any ideas if this one should be quieter than both the magnaflow and catbacks?

Just found out from DC today, that their will be some "Pre-Production Models out this week" The rest will hit the market in 4-6 weeks.

My price to the Cobalt world is going to be 435 shipped!

We will be begin taking orders now and will ship once recieved.

Hope to have some audio clips since it should hit the market this week with the pre production models out!

Hope this helps anyone interested let me know!

Gah, why'd the have to put a 4" tip on it. If the rest of the system is 2.5" (or whatever it is) theres absolutely no purpose in having such a large tip other than to look rediculous.

95db is not that loud. any aftermarket exhaust will get you pulled over if you wanna be technical about it. dc sports is definently not rice. 95db is the legal limit in california.

right
if there was one with a smaller outlet, like 2.5" inches, it wouldnt look so bad though

that would look alot better but those are very rare. most exhuast systems are 2.5" pipping but the tip is like 3"-5".

yes, i hate that too, 3" isnt too bad, but i prefer to be stealthy, maybe ill do a cat delete and hide the muffler somewhere
