GM Performance Parts makes one but you need to recalibrate your computer to install it. You can get a ported manifold from RSM Racing I believe also.

Venom are the only other people that make a manifold and it's the same deal as GMPP, you need to reprogram your computer so the car doesn't mess up the idle.

Venom intake Manifold Part # is VNM-M45359

Ouch to the $999 price....Venom's is cheaper than that....$799...still steep though for minor power gains.

Well if your going for boost, our stock intake manifold will blow apart at 11-12psi, because its plastic. You would need a cast-aluminum manifold to take anything more. Im not going to buy one of those because i wouldnt be able to use my 5th injector setup. Alpine is supposed to make us a direct replacement cast-aluminum manifold that looks just like stock, but will take much much more boost.

If you're going to boost it I believe the SAAB 2.0L turbo aluminum intake will fit -- PN 55352121 (around $160 at Saabpartsdirect 1-800-871-3619). I considered using it for N/A but it doesn't have a MAF port. Maybe you could use it since you're going turbo?

Venom makes 2 manifolds -- one that looks like our plastic intake but Venom states it only fits 01-04 Cavis, the other one looks like the GM performance intake. I have an 03 Cavi plastic 2.2L intake manifold and it looks like the same intake as my 06 LS's. Both are pricey.

This is a picture of the Saab intake on a 2.2L. From a post on Jbody Performance -- the guy never finished the installation so I don't know if he had problems or not -- it fits the engine:

Hahn Street Metal intake manifold is another option. You can get it with or without the Port-Fueler extra injector rail.

That would be good for a custom turbo set-up. For naturally aspirated, I bet the stock manifold flows better (and makes better torque). It actually has really long runners because it loops around and under itself.

You're probably right about the performance due to the runners -- I was considering it more for show than go -- I bet it would look good polished under the GMPP intake!

From the picture it looks like they have a fuel rail that positions the injectors in the intake port. I don't know how you'd block out the original injectors since they're not in the intake -- just unplug them I guess.

Port Fueler is a second set of injectors. You keep your stock injectors and they are operated by your stock computer with no changes. Then Port Fueler takes over when the stock units top out.

They're usually operated by a secondary computer, too. Corky Bell talks about this approach in some detail in "Maximum Boost."

Sorry it took so long to answer, been on a trip. I saw the Saab intake on a 2.2 on the JBP website. It fits the cylinder head but I didn't see where the guy that pictured it and wrote about it finished it and got it running. Since it works for the Saab 2.0 Ecotech it should work for you -- but for me to say I know it will work -- haven't seen one in operation yet. You might be the first to attempt it....
