Thumbs up EBC Dimpled/Slotted Rotors and Greenstuff Pads

I got the EBC dimpled/slotted rotors and greenstuff pads the other day and am installing them tommorow? Question. The rotors have a black zinc coating. Do I need to take that off with brake cleaner or wash it off or does it burn off within the first few uses??? I couldnt find anything on EBC's website about that. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Pic down below.

Nevermind, LOL. I just answered my own question. It says directly on the inside of the box of rotors that the zinc coating will wear off, therefore meaning it will burn off.

I won't be able to tell you guys how well they stop for a few days till i get about 100 or so miles on them. Anyhow the install was a piece of cake. I wanna thank Aaron at turbotech for great customer service and products.

man just got on the laptop, those rotors look nice, i didnt know they were dimpled/slotted, i thought they were drilled/slotted, hmmmm that mean i might get these instead of the SP performance diamond/slotted ones from the group buy....hmmm how do u like them so far? did you only uprarde the rotors and pads? no brake lines? im buying some rotors and brake lines on the 20th, and now i dont know what to go with, either the SP diamond/slotted or the EBC dimpled/slotted....but those baer rotros look so damn good too hmm, time to search for pics hahahah or TTR any pics of the baers? actual pics of them, i see on your site you just have the *actual item may not be as pictured* ones :p

Baer has had them, on back order, for some time now... No time frame when more are avaliable.

Correct the EBC rotors are Dimpled/slotted, NOT drilled And we have Many more EBC in stock
