well either way you are puting more air in or more air out. and guess what your car will know. it may take whats called a drive cycle to get the PCM to learn the part. its even faster if u disconnect the battery. and if u really read its the 2.0's that have a CEL problem(usually a lean code). not a 2.2.. i thought they had a perofrmance driving flash for either ecotech.. i may be wrong on that. i know they have it for the 2.4 SS idk bout the 2.2. ( thewhole 2.4 SS trim is debateable.)

Todd if your worried about CEL's then my suggestion to you is to stop modding RIGHT NOW. Everything you do to a car can set off a CEL. Hell just putting gas in it can set of a CEL.

And the official word from Aeroforce who make the interceptors say the gauge for the 2.2 is coming out this month.

Todd, I'm sorry. But you have a problem with wanting to mod your car and not wanting to then even drive it.

You are going to get a CEL someday even if you drive your car completely stock from this day forward. Your warranty will be fine, you'll have to have it checked, because that's how it works, and they are going to tell you its fine.

The same is true if you modify, or not.

You have an irrational fear. Work on that first. Otherwise you are simply not going to have fun doing any kind of mods. It will just be a source of stress, causing you to wonder every time you drive if the CEL is going to turn on or not.
