Exhaust...

Well x-mas is coming..
and im making my x-mas list.
But which exhaust should i chose out of these..im looking for a deep exhaust tone..thats noticable, but not too loud..like most people have there rediculously loud and mufflers that do absolutly nothing. Nothin too ricey.
thinking about the
GMP catback exhaust
DC Sports Catback exhaust
Borla Catback exhaust.

then for headers too
I've found the pacesetter ones..which i think i'll just get that...but i dont really like how there exhaust sounds from the you tube vid i watched of it.

Tell me some personall experiences with above exhausts..or through me some new ideas.

Thanks!

personally i recomend borla it has a VERY deep and VERY aggresive tone to it what you could to is buy the turbo muffler or the borla x muffler and get it custom routed or mounted to save you from the 700 cat back pipping thats what i did and it sounds great trust me it wont dissappoint you !!!!!!!!!

the pacesetter header REQUIRES an aftermarket DP, or you can cut your stock one, but it depends on how much work you want.

SLP performance sound really good but maybe a little too loud for what you're looking for. They only make it for the LSJ but i think the parts still fit.

SLP is virtually a straight pipe w/a resonator. Straight Pipe on 4cylinder =

Preston, I think either one of the GMPP exhausts will suit you best.

Not another one.

Listen, there are 127612394817`263 threads on this and it's the same every time.

I'll tell you that I have the Touring GMPP and that it's a real low tone, mellow, and noticeable. Someone else will chime in that it's too quiet and the Sport tone is nicer, then someone else will say it's not nicer... it's ricer. Then there are all the others that have Borla, Magnaflow, Megan, etc.

Save yourself the headache:

1) use the thread search option on this site.
2) listen to soundclips online and make up your own mind based on that because no matter what each exhaust claims... they are all pretty equal in performance.

The End.

any chance you have a sound clip? I like to hear it. I need an exhaust too, still running stock I've narrowed what I want down to magnaflow, flowmaster and borla. I'm leaning flowmaster/borla because I'd rather be deep then loud.

I see some people say borla , but they make the GMPP exhausts so i can't see spending alot more money when you can get the same thing from GM .

GMPP system is made by Borla. Same thing, just 2.25" piping and the tip is not welded on.
