A Few Quick ?'s

I have the 2.2 5spd and was wondering when is a good time to get the brake pads and such serviced (replaced) and when the transmission fluid and various other fluids that need to be refilled.

My car currently has 29,9xx miles.

The car runs completely fine, I just want to ensure that my car remains healthy.

Also, until I purchase projectors, I was curious if anyone knows the part number off hand for the Sylvania silverstar bulbs, and if they are even worth it until the projectors show up.

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Are you getting brake squel, pusluation, or a weak pedal. If yes, its time for brakes.

The reccommended fluid change periods (miles / years) are listed in the owners manual.

when you have to change ur brake pads really depends on ur driving habits. some ppl have to change theirs every 30,000 miles, other ppl have pushed 60,000 miles and then some. like i said, it all depends on ur driving style. i had to replace my brakes and rotors at 40,000 miles cuz my rotors were warping and it led to my brake pads being worn down unevenly.

im not positive about the tranny fluid, but someone told me that we were good till 100,000, but someone else told me to do it at 50,000 just to be safe, along with the engine coolant. like i said, im not positive on this though.

and our light numbers are 9007. but honestly dont waste ur time with the sylvania silverstars, they really are not much of an upgrade at all. check out the lights in this thread, they are a bit more expensive, but remember, you generally get what you pay for with this stuff. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/appearance-48/try-these-headlight-bulbs-107734/
