Finally lowered my 06 ls

So I finally got around, after almost 8 years of ownership lol, to lowering my car. I have a handful of other mods installed but my last few oil changes my dealership has been yelling at me, lol, about my suspension being shot so I finally did something about it. First off I am a guy with way too many hobbies with a few of them being very expensive so I needed a suspension with a budget friendly price. I knew I want kyb struts/shocks because I really liked them on previous cars so I got to searching and found on ebay the kyb/m2 spring package and said "screw it" and ordered it. After buying I did some research on m2 spring and immediately wanted to vomit, lol. They had a lot of negative reviews and it was actually hard to find a good review so I kinda freaked out a bit but then decided to wait and see how it goes. So last night after work I spent about 5 hours (no lift or air tools ughhh) tearing out the old suspension and getting pissed and cutting out the front stabilizer links because I couldn't get the damn things off. So around 10:45 last night I finished my project and took a quick spin around the block and was pleasantly surprised. Other than being super stiff and a bit bouncy it wasn't that bad of a ride and to top it off those springs got rid of just about 100% of the ridiculous body roll that these cars have, thank God lol. So if you are interested in a decent lowering package and are afraid to take the plunge on these bad larrys I will give the recommendation as I am pleased with them so far anyways, lol. Here is a pic from this morning that shows the new look of my cobalt with the new suspension. I know I know I need rims now, lol
