I changed my fuel filter every 30k, I went with ac delco its your choice to put in non-oem parts. Probably will be fine with a different fuel filter but who knows.

Well the ad delco oil filter is made by wix and if the only options for fuel filter are ac delco or wix it would be a safe bet to assume both filters are made by wix.

30K and NAPA also has them. Napa is Wix, so year. You will need a fuel line disconnect tool to do it, but its a 5 minute job.

My cobalt doesn't have a fuel filter. I went to change it one day and could not find it anywhere. Turned out my cobalt is cali emissions and doesn't have one. Meanwhile, the car was shipped brand new to NJ but its cali emissions wtf...

My car also has the Cali emissions as it has the SAI. I think almost all NJ 2.2's were shipped with Cali emissions.

Since apparently the fuel filter is in the tank, where would I go to get it replaced if it's possible?

Edit: nvm. Did some searching and found out that it essentially cleans itself.
