Fully Bolted Auto Times

Hey guys, i've been checking out the drag section and it seems that pretty much every time posted is for a 5 speed. I'm thinking about modding my car, the only thing holding me back is the fact that it is auto.

So, can you 4 spd auto guys post your times and mods?!

If i do decide to mod my car, i'll go header, dp, catback, intake, b&m shift kit, trifecta tune and better tires on stock 16's. What rough times could I expect with said mods?

at most you should only be .10 off a 5spd, and with vinces tune and the mods you are talking about you may not be at all at a deficit as you will be able to shift quicker into the next gear and possibly have fewer shifts then we would, my gf has a tuned auto with just an exhaust and airbox mod and it moves pretty quick.

yeah its not going to be that bad.

reason why you dont see many AUTO times on the boards is that people are afraid to mod autos cause theyre slow.

and vince's auto trans tune is pretty badass.

Have you taken yours to the track? Is your auto noticablly quicker after your mods?

Are you tuned and fully bolted + spray?

Is that using a 50 or 75 shot?

Can you tell whoevers the tuner not to tune that? So you have the ability to switch between stage I and stage II...

don't do that, it's like bad advice. the shift+ stage 2 setting creates too much wheel spin going into second. the trifecta tune will stll chirp in second similar to the shift+ but you get better control at putting the power down which will improve your times and is less stressful on the trans and fluid.

gotta go back for off the bottle times. yzrider and i botched our off the bottle runs.
best time w/o the 2.4 intake mani and zzp dp where 16.1 and that was on shitty pirelli tires and the car was overheating due to a bad thermostat too. don't you love how **** can go wrong right befor you hit the track?
