well i had money to burn, went ahead and purchased the Cobalt Addiction XTC 2.5" downpipe w/ cat.

All stainless, Vibrant flex and metal core cat. don't think i've gonna be displeased. :-P

 

i could have sworn the cats were ceramic core. at least mine looked like it was. :shrugs:

but its not a bad dp. especially for the 70 bucks i paid used

sad but true. i ordered an intake from them and it took them 2 weeks just to tell me its been back ordered. at least they shipped me a more expensive intake for the same price.

 

well i guess you cant argue with that. I was going to order my cat-back from them...then a buddy of mine told me that i would be waiting about 3 months for it to get here. it sux cause i really wonna get that gauge bezzel thats in the purple cobalt....but i dont want to wait till christmas to get it. lol

well guys, this may amaze you.... but so far my service experience with Cobalt Addiction has been just fine.

i actually had a convo with them, even showed them pics proving 2.2 downpipes have two o2 bungs. as a result, they are planning to update their site with this info.

they told me i'm looking at about 5 business days before shipment of the item, as they informed me they build each downpipe to-order.

so, unless something drastically changes, Cobalt Addiction will get a great customer service review from me.

 

hey bro, not trying to be a downer...
but until you get a real TRUE FULL exhaust, you're not going to see the numbers your expecting with your other mods...
but thats my opinion....you know how that is. : )

 

Atleast they respond to you, both times I bought stuff from ottp it took them over two months on each order and they only sent the **** out after I left several voicemails, emails, and PM's on here... Speaking of, my rotors and rear sway still arent in and it will be two months on the 2nd of April. Unless I need a specific part I am never buying from them again.

 

correct me if im wrong, but by ottp, you mean over the top performance right? i thought they were supposed to be one of the best distributors on here?

Yep, Gary(twiztedco) and I cant figure it out because he gets all his stuff within a few days...
Over The Top Performance, have good products and a lot of exclusives but suck in the customer service dept.

First order was CTI DP, brake lines, steering rack spacers, EBC Pads... the DP came in after a month, everything else came in about 3 weeks later.
Second order was EBC rotors, OTTP Hardcore bar. I emailed them twice and called them a few days ago. Finally got it out of them that the rotors were on backorder so they refered me to another brand which I had to settle for... Took them two months of me harassing them to find that out... Bad overall experience.

 

Wellll the downpipe is on its way as of today! Cobalt Addiction/AudioXTC kept me in the loop when I asked about the status, and the shipment date they gave was right when they said it would be.

So, review in a few days! finally the 2.2 will breath a lil better haha
