I found the one I wanted. But I'll def use the one mentioned earlier. I just want 250 chp. I dont want to start changing internals. The book I was specifically looking for explained what I needed to go from stock to 250 hp. Found it on socal ecotec website. The got a book for stock - 250, 250 - 600, and 600+

Heres the link

Yes, we know all about those books, and their earlier versions.

I should caution you, the supercharger installation shown in that book applied ONLY to J-body Ecotecs, meaning Cavaliers and Sunfires. It will not work on the Cobalt. It's very confusing because the whole book is about Cobalts and the picture on the front of the supercharger installation section is a Cobalt. But in the very first few paragraphs it talks specifically about how it is only for the J-bodies.

The GMPP supercharger kit that you buy is not meant for Cobalts, but you can physically install it. It will not work alone however because you need a tune. That is available now from Trifecta.

Trrifecta offers a canned tune for SC install on a Cobalt?

No, but they are the only people I know of that can make any tune right now for the car.

It should just be a .PDF file. Download it and use it locally so you don't have to visit a web site every time just to read it. I brought the file to Kinko's and had them print it and spiral bind it.
