So it looks like the cat in my DP is going out and makes it sound like crap inside the car when I give it gas. Been thinking of doing either just a downpipe or downpipe/header combo. I have a 2.5 catback on it but with doing something like this, I don't want it to sound WAY to loud or sound like ass. What would be a good place to look at for either of these? Thanks.

 

What 2.5" catback do you have now?

 

Go on google and search for all the downpipes on the market for your car. Then, you tube every single one till you find what YOU like most. Zzp, hahn, ottp, clear image, there's variety. Some you will find they don't make anymore btw..

 

I have a tsudo n1 on it right now. The only problem i'll have is finding one with an exhaust close to mine lol

 

get a resonator and save on buying a whole new catback. I got the corsa sport 2.5 and even when I ran it it with th 3" catless DP it wasn't rattle can raspy. Comes with a great resonator.

 

I have no grip about the exhaust at all, I dearly LOVE it. It's the right sound I'm looking for with the right loudness. I just know that once I got to a 2.5 DP, it'll change up the sound and I'm not sure what I'm looking for specifically. I know that since I'm going to do a DP, i might as well do a header with it.
