come on guys, ease up.. this was posted by the same guy that took a whole day just to install a CAI.. everyone starts somewhere.

bboy, my advice is to use the SEARCH tool as to avoid embarrasing threads like this one.

so no performance boost from these? I know it's about 1/10th of the psi of a stock supercharger, but this is cheap and easy. I'd do it if I got 5 or 10hp extra. how loud are these when they're turned on? I might buy one to mess with a bit. once I get tired of it, I have a non-car related project I could use it on.

omg, I love the turbo sound of the 08 cobalt! I wanna buy a speaker to fake that sound in my car. either that, or trade in my 07.

could be perfect for filtering my computer cabinet. I need 1-2psi. add a simple fan speed controller and it could be perfect. that's why I asked how loud it is. can you hear it over an idling engine?

hey guys, NOT FUNNY!!!
I am running this inline w/ my supercharger.... the first time I started it up the A-pillar mounted boost gauge just exploded....I think I am pushing 27lbs.
I went to the dyno.... the guys there were very impressed.... they thought I had paid over $2000 for this set up
the dyno does not lie..... I am now pushing 314HP to the wheel and torque is well over 350
should I go on????
On the way to the dyno, there was a EVO 9 who wanted to run me after hearing my electric BOV at the stop light (an option).... he gave me 3 honks and I left him in the dust.... by 2nd gear I had 8 car lengths on him

I gonna get one of these for my lawn mower so I could have more free time....

I'm far from pro, but my guess is it helps eliminate back-pressure when used to supplement a real turbo or supercharger. isn't back-pressure between the filter and the turbo/supercharger a bad thing?

it does absolutely nothing except create an obstruction, and will probably break apart and send little pieces of plastic and metal through your sc or tc and into your engine.
