Got my k&n drop in filter and have some questions

Whats up all, like i said i got my drop in k&n filter. How does the filter with the intake mod stack up against the INJEN sri ? and will i have any problem out running ( i think its a 2006) honda civic, its a base model and i dont know if it has a auto or manual tranny. (i have an auto) well, in general will this car out run any stock honda civic with out any problem? the two i am wanting to shutup are hondas civic ex's. One being the 2006, and one about a 04-05. any help will be appreciated. and no i will not be racing on the street. it will be this weekend at a local track. thanks for anyhelp

I've raced my co-worker in his 2003 Civic EX twice... I beat him both times by 3+ car lengths... then again my car is a manual tho too (his too). take it for what its worth...

btw, both our cars were stock at the time...

The K&N drop in filter with resonator delete gives good gains from what I can tell. I used to be dead even with my friends Cavalier 2.2: Ecotec Auto. now I'm a slight bit faster (About a car length over all)

I'm pleased with the gain and gas milage.

What gains did you get in gas mileage?

The K&N drop-in filter for our cars will run you about $40 or so. 'Resonator delete' refers to removing the resonator, or 'snorkel' from your stock air intake. It is located between the inner fender and bumper cover. Removing it allows air to flow more freely into the airbox, and will also make your intake slightly louder.
