you cant. you will have to wait for a tune to come out for the car.

If you got a 2.2 LS that came with 16 inch alloys and the sport package there is no govoner but there is a rev limiter at 6500 rpms

Nope. You will HAVE to be tuned to get it removed...The manual tune should be available in a month or more. You just have to wait like everyone else on this one.

nope, you had to have gotten the 2.2 LS w. 16 inch alloys and the sport package in order to not have a govoner. sport package even came with the 2.4 SS gauge cluster (the speedo that reads 140mph)

You shouldn't be going that fast anyways. And if you do somehow like to always travel at that speed, invest in some better brakes.

why does it seem that almost everyone that has a 2.2 has a governer at a different speed? mine tops out at like 113 @ 4300 rpms. if theres a mailing list for when the tune comes out...put me on it.

well, it's kind of a rediculous idea from the word go, Jeff... i mean, really, my car's limit is something silly like 170 (not that the car itself can go that fast) but, i MAYBE once a month, make sure that it can still do 90 and then i go the speed limit.

and since, no street stock 2.2 is trapping more than 105, it's just silly all around.
