does anyone know if a aftermarket 2.4L header will fit on my 07 2.2? the reason i ask is cause i found a really good deal on the 2.4l header and dp.

 

Some will, some won't. there is an issue with clearance of a coolant line. What header/dp is it?

 

go on ebay there is a brand that is obx and aslong as ur not aiming for above 200 hp i would go with that.. good header dp and it will fit ur 2.2 and perfect for a 2.2 or 2.4 under 200 hp( because of the 1.5 primary's)

 

I have this header coupled with the LSJ DP and i love it! it has 1.7 primaries.

its the OBX header and downpipe combo for $255.00 plus $32.00 shipping.

 

I've wondered about the OBX header/dp for the 2.4 working on a 2.2...so it will work fine? The only reason I ask is if you need to bend the coolant line like you do with the Vibrant or anything else?

Do they hold up for a while? I'm considering buying one myself so I can finish my exhaust. I will be NA with just basic bolt-ons for quite some time..don't plan on FI for a while if at all.
