Header Question?

With all the talk of the dual charged cobalt ss's, I was curious if since the head pattern is apparently the same, if the header for the ss would fit the non-sc. The reason I'm asking is for those that want to stay n/a, but still up the power a tad. If the header would fit, then the only piece that would have to be custom made would be the catted section, and then buy a cat back. Any bowtie techs care to send some knowledge? Thanks

its not the head
it would be the exhaust manifold configuration
i think a header from any other 2.2 ecotec would work

whats the advantage of buying a SS/SC header?

Sorry it seems that i confused my own question, I was in a car accident, and apparently the pain killers had me a tad loopy. Anyway, I was thinking that if the gm kit eventually comes out, or speedmafia, or even for a n/a application, that this header might be a cheaper alternative than having a custom one made, or atleast until another reputable manufacturer has a chance to make one. Just a thought anyway.

You dont need a special exhaust manifold for a supercharger, only a turbo. Im sure plenty of people will be producing headers for cobalts.

You're right, you don't necessarily need a "special" manifold, or header, but for those going supercharged or n/a, the header should only benefit or maximize the power output
