I am a base model 07 G5. I have the Cobalt SS rear lip on it though and I want to buy a magnaflow muffler. Is this the right muffler? Will it fit and weld up right without any modification?

wont work..

you need an offset/offet piping in the muffler for it to work best. that one is center/center. at bare minimum get a offset/center.

 

I just went out and got underneath the car and saw that you are right. From what I can see on my back it looks like i need an offset for the inlet and a center outlet. Does anyone know where I can find a nice tip with a 2.25" inlet and atleast 4"round that is not mad expensive.

 

I had that on my 07 lt with a ss rear and had no problems

 

alright thanks. I have had a few people of G5club say that a center/center will work, but my muffler now looks like it is offset/center so maybe either or will fit.
