help please. :)

so today i just installed my megan racing catback and it sounds awesome!! but i noticed a clinking sound coming from the underside? is that just the heat and the exhaust and bolts and **** expanding and contracting? or did i install something wrong or what? plz help

metals expand and contract with heating and cooling, so its common to have that

Theres a heat shield near the middle of the car mine was touching/tapping against. I just went under, bent it back a bit, and haven't had a problem since. Just take a look around for a rub, no big deal. Good luck and yes I LOVE my megan exhaust too.

yea thats what i was thinking. there isent anything that i could have done wrong that might amplify or increase the amount of sound?

I had a time trying to line up the different pieces, so if its a bit louder in maybe certain sections they might not be lined up all the way causing a leak. Easiest way to find a leak is obvoiusly hearing it or looking at the connections for black soot. Haha I know a couple others who have the megan too, cant go wrong with it.

this happened to me to when i had it. it might b that u didnt line up one of the pipes. if it isnt lined up perfectly then it will hit gas tank so just check that out

well the ticking doesnt bother me real. so **** it. when i go to put sportlines on it maby ill tweak the alighnment

exhaust tick...in the lsj it sounds like you have one of those comic book time bombs under there and it get's faster and faster...then it stops.

when i put on my magnaflow i drove myself insane trying to find out what was buzzing under my car around 3 grand rpms. it turned out it was just my intake lol it was touching and buzzed around in there. nothing a little weather stripping cant fix
