help wit intake

ok so my injan inatke needed a cleaning today so i took the filter off and it was basically black!....wut should i do...get cleaner for it? get a new filter like k&n filter...or wut help please!!!

Get an AEM Dryflow filter lol...I think those are bit better then K&N since they are not pre-oiled and you can just wash them in a tub of water without the need of any special cleaners.

He has the Injen one. I will have the Injen on mine soon and I'll probably have this problem down the road as well. Bump for how to clean the Injen?

yea go with the AEM dryflow....i had an AEM cai on my cavy and was constantly cleaning and oiling the filter until they came out with the dryflow and i got that, it was alot easier as far as cleaning goes

where can You get the Dry Flow Filter...... and will it fit on the Injen CAI tubing??

AEM sells them on their website...im not sure how to get one for non AEM products but im sure if you know a the dimensions on your intake you could find one that fits..and if u just want to clean your Injen filter just go to your local auto parts store and pick up a K&N cleaning/oiling kit they are not really expensive and you should be able to use on your Injen filter. I used to use that stuff on my non dryflow AEM filter and it worked perfect and only takes about 10 minutes.


But if anyone has part numbers for AEM drylow filters that fit the Injen and/or K&N intakes they would be much appredciated b/c im getting my K&N soon and want a dryflow for it.
