how to?

Yes, there is one. And there was a lot of criticism of it being WAY too much work. The how-to has you removing a lot of parts that you don't have to take apart. It is not an easy job for the back-yard weekend warrior.

You must remove the front suspension, the drive axles, the engine cradle, then drop the motor and transmission as a unit, then seperate the transmission from the motor to install the clutch and then do the reverse process. Much easier said than done. This is a job for professional level mechanics. I would not suggest doing this unless you are very skilled and experienced witht his type of work.

You dont drop the engine on either one unless you dont have the proper tools. The way you do it is you support the engine and take out the trans, taking out the whole cradle is a way to do it, but you have to disconnect so many things and open the cooling system, open the a/c(or take off compressor and tie to car) I really dont think dropping the whole cradle is the way to go, unless you absolutely cannot get an engine support, and you have to do it yourself.

I just did mine over Thanksgiving break and let me say it was a bish!!! If you don't have the proper tools, an engine hoist, and a transmission jack take it to a shop. But if you do have the tools but no lift, prepare for at least a 2 day process. I came into major snags every once in a while and it ended up taking me 3 days to finish. And I believe I have a link somewhere to where there is a manual for the whole installation process if you are still interested in doing it yourself.
