Hey guys got a little side work if I want it wondering how long it would take to remove and replace a 2.2 in a 01 saturn I assume its about the same as a cobalt being its a l61. Need to know how long about its gonna take start to finish. I have been working on cars since young and should have all tools required for the job.
also if anyone knows of a good how to that im sure would help a lot
Thanks a bunch guys

PM Maven, he's your best bet on getting a true estimate.

If you're doing it by yourself on a motor you've never pulled before (even if you are handy), I would guess you're looking at a good 9-10 hours from start to finish. Really depends on how prepared you will be...

If its automatic, its cake, I can do those in like 5hrs no problem, Saturn guys do 'em in like 4!!! If it takes more than 8 youre likely doing something wrong.

If its manual, add at least another 2 hrs, since youll need to drop frame. If its manual and you drop frame make sure you buy new frame mounting nuts and bolts, and new tie rod end nuts.
