while we are at this, anyone know how to extend your shifter, mine came with one, i believe it's the carbon fiber one that gm makes. not that i looked into this i'm just guessing, he added carbon fiber panels inside (these aren't real carbon just look a likes, incase i get any smart asses... haha ). he also put on the lower ground effects kit, i need to get a pic up its' a 4dr red one, haven't really seen many like it specially up here in alaska (with the ground effects).

but yeah, anyone know how to extend one, i imagine i'll just have to buy a new one like twm, but do they allow you to do that? I just want one that's like on a truck so i don't have to lean forward as much, short arms... long legs...

If you get the twm one, yeah they came out with something to extend it.

For your 05 2.2 Cobalt, you will need the following:

http://www.twmperformance.com/shorts...rtshifters.htm

It's a perfect fitment for your car!

As for shifter extenders, we do have them available at the following link, they are 4" extenders:

http://www.twmperformance.com/shifte...ders/index.htm

They will work with our TWM short shifters, but not with the stock Cobalt shifters.
