Well theres this hole for it on the INJEN intake. Follow the directions, it'll tell you everything.

i think you're talking about the newly discovered egr line... it just kinda hangs there because there's no slot for it...

No, if your talking about the line that goes from the top of the cam cover to the airbox when stock thats no an egr line. (we dont even have egr) Its not air injection either, Me and halfcent looked and my car does not have Air Injection. If thats not the line your talking about then please explain.

A normal air intake on a car WITHOUT air injection has the MAF and the breather line which connects to the cam cover. WITH air injection, none of the aftermarket system that I know of have a provision for attaching the line. You should simply get a small filter for it (just like a breather filter) and secure line with a zip tie.

Indeed. It is the air injection line, not the breather

http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...Prod=69-4515TS Have a look at the install instructions, it talks about everything for the air line. To the best of my knowledge K&N are the only air injection friendly intakes...

Here are a couple pictures of the air injection tube on my 06 cobalt. These pictures were taken to send to injen after speaking with their tech. I purchased an injen intake for my car then came cross these little set back at installation of new intake. The tech over at injen said that they were unaware of this air injection tube and therefore had me send the pictures. In the end, I just end up returning it and am still waiting for my refund on the intake because I was not about to "rig" up something else to work, do it right or not at all if you ask me.

The only intake that I am aware of that has the capables of hooking up the air injection tube is the K&N intake that was mentioned already #69-4515TS. I am actually looking into purchasing this intake myself.

Well hope this helps to clear up some of the confusion of what the air injection tube and pump look like.

for any one that does have it just put a breather filter on it i belive all it does is pump air into your exhuast thats why some people are having problems with headers also

I installed the GMPP Performance Intake on my 06 LS and it did not even mention this injection hose (nothing in writing or in the pictures and there is no connection for it on the tube). I did not know what you were talking about until you provided the pictures and the K&N Filter instructions. Is this an injection hose for an Air Injection Reactor setup that pumps air into the exhaust -- like for a California emissions car? In the instructions for the Performance Intake it says it is illegal in California except on racing vehicles which may not be used on public highways (Page 1, 2006-7 Cobalt and 2007 Pontiac G5 with 2.2L four cylinder engines). I also looked again at the Intake assy -- nothing for this hose to attach to!
