Installed CA Downpipe

I just installed my CA downpipe. it sounds a little raspy right now. hope its just the cat breaking in. i am goin to upload a before and after video clip of the exhaust.

mine was raspy as hell too. got a resonator for that, took care of most of it.

once the cat breaks in the raspiness should go away... takes a few days to a week depending on how much you drive... now remember gotta chill on the WOT runs for a few days

yes, i know about the 500 mile break in. dont go above 3500 RPM is what i have heard.
what kind of gains can i expect? will i be able to feel the difference? also i just got back from taco bell and it smells really bad. is that normal?

yeah. usually thats the smell of the flux, and whatever oils were on the metal. that goes away after a day. as for staying below 3500 thats not entirely correct. just keep the car out of PE for a few days as too not burn up the cat right away with a rich afr.

i got the 2.5 w/cat.

i will get a better vid tomorrow. i had a leak when i started it with the DP. its fixed now. damn stubborn dp bolts. lol

Do you live with birds lol. You can hear the damn things over the exhaust. Anyways sounds really good. Little deeper than with just the magnaflow on it and not to raspy.

lol, ya theres a **** load of birds here. i always shoot em with my airsoft but they come back.

the cat is still breakin in so it'll sound better when its broke in, and even better when i get my CA header and install that

damn, people wanna hear the video comparison and they dont comment. lol

got a CEL at 220 miles on the cat. i have taken it REALLY easy on the cat. nothing above 3000 rpm.
