Intake Question

I was browsing around on eBay today and found a brand called Bomz that makes an intake for our cars. I emailed them with an inquiry and they said that it would only fit on the 2.0L version of the car.

Does anybody know if that's true or not? Will the 2.0 intake fit on the 2.2 engine or no?

Thanks all!

Anthony

No, the 2.0 intake will not fit on a 2.2. The 2.4 intakes will fit on the 2.2, but not the 2.0's.

yeah main reason being is because on the 2.2 and the 2.4 the intake routes to the passenger wheel well where the 2.0's routes to the driver side wheel well.

I was there not too long ago. I had an injen on my 2007 2.2 and it worked very well. Believe me I know what being broke feels like. Just wait til you have a mortgage 2 car payments and an expensive hobby called cars as well. I have my main job that pays the bills and a 2nd to support my hobby. So keep at and just remember going cheap is not always the best way its better to save to get the better product. I have found out what buying cheap parts can do and believe me its a big waste of money.
