Smile Jet Chips

So I was looking for some easy upgrades to do on our 2.2L engine and I found these for our cars;

http://www.jetchip.com/Shop/shopdisp...ppp=10&catID=1

Does anyone know if these products are reliable and good for the price?
all comments are welcome!!!!

I have one on my 2.4 and to be honest no its not as good as a trifecta tune or dyno tune. But for the amount I paid for it Im happy. Granted im a 2.4 and not a 2.2 guy. But im pretty happy with it. I will probably still go with a custom tune later. But for now I wanted something I could easily remove for warranty work.

Just go with a Trifecta. You pretty much get what you pay for when it comes to modding cars, and this is no exception.

these chips work. they are not as effective as a trifecta tune. But for what they are, they work. They are a removable tune which will give you a small upgrade.

People on this site who have them, swear by them. People who don't read chip and will call you an idiot and tell you to stop wasting your time and money. My advice... find someone who has it and ask them what they think. Then order it, if you aren't happy with it, return it.

how about the air/fuel ratio meter? is it a narrowband or wideband? What is more accurate? i plan on doing a turbo build in the next year or so.

If you are going to do a turbo build, save your money and get a full tune. The Jet Chip Module is not going to do anything in a turbo build

No not the Jet tune, just the A/F ratio gauge. Is that as accurate as putting in a wideband?

unless its plugging into your downpipe, its a narrowband sensor which just tells you what the computer is asking the engine to do fuel wise. not actually measuring your a/f ratio
